1. The service
RoamSync provides a free Schengen and tax-residency planning calculator, optional Pro features for advanced compliance workflows, and educational content via blog posts and email. By using RoamSync you agree to these terms.
2. Informational guidance only
All calculations and recommendations on RoamSync are estimates based on publicly available immigration directives and bilateral tax treaties. They do not constitute legal, tax or immigration advice. Visa and tax rules change frequently and depend on facts we do not have about your specific situation. Before making any travel or legal decision, verify with the relevant authority (e.g. consulates, tax authorities) or a qualified professional.
3. Permitted use
Use RoamSync for personal compliance planning. Do not scrape, mirror or republish the underlying calculation engine without written permission. Embedding the official Schengen widget on a third-party site is permitted under the embed guidelines.
4. Account terms
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or show signs of compromise.
5. Paid plans
If and when paid plans are offered, pricing, billing cadence and any refund terms will be presented at checkout before payment. We may change pricing prospectively with reasonable notice.
6. No warranties
RoamSync is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accuracy of third-party data or fitness for a particular purpose.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoamSync's total liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including denied boardings, fines or tax assessments.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify RoamSync from claims arising from your reliance on RoamSync for any travel, tax or immigration decision.
9. Termination
We may discontinue the service with reasonable notice. On termination, your localStorage data will be cleared on the next browser session; all server-side account data will be deleted within 30 days.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
